Marseille is the second largest city of France located on the French Riviera coast near the mouth of Rhone. The town holds importance for being a major trading center and a leading commercial port of the French Republic. The city is full of art and culture combining tradition of its past 26 centuries with modernity. With deep engraves of the past the town continually digs up the remains of ancient building and monuments. They kept building in the city from time to time. Marseille is quite rich in heritage sites whose construction took place long back in the 16th century, 17th and 18th century and 19th century along with the modern architectural marvels built in the 21st century.
