Driver was very unenergetic. Seemed like she really didn’t want to be there

My wife and I enjoyed our experience. The Big Bus gives you the option to see the city at reasonable cost and also be educated about the city. The only negative was the audio box did not work on one of buses. We have used Big Bus in several major cities over the years and will continue doing this when available.

I was going to be in Chicago for only about 5 hours so riding the red Hop On Hop off bus allow me to get a big picture of Chicago. I was very happy with my experience as I was able to go to all different parts of the city and enjoy the advantage of being on the top of the bus taking beautiful pictures and seeing the city from a great vantage point.

While we loved the format and options, I was frustrated to discover that several of the stops were rather far from the attractions. I understand that traffic patterns limit options, but if the company had been more up-front about the required walking amounts, I could have made a more informed decision about whether this was the right option for me.

This was a great way to see the city without being stressed out driving, parking, trying to navigate. One of the bus drivers did the commentary which was very good. I did not like the pre-recorded commentary, too much music and just goofy chatter. Commentary could have been much better.

We always enjoy taking a Hop On Hop Off ride through a new city and basically the ride through Chicago was no different. However, the audio portion of the ride was disappointing. There was too much unnecessary music and it was very difficult to understand the speaker.

Convenient, great destinations, comfortable seating. Only downfall was the ear buds. I did not have an adapter for my iPhone, so I had no audio. There are ‘speakers’ and volume ‘panels’ at every seat, but there is no place to plug in buds

Good tour and the stops are great as well.

Nice and practical but more frequent rides will be a good idea

Even tho the weather was bad the drivers were courteous and were very good drivers!
