From Embarcadero to Balboa Park we were on the bus of Benjamin (Rocky if the year 22). It seemed to be funny but people from other countries with other languages nearly couldn’t follow his comments. Much too fast. We didn’t appreciate that. 2 stars for that part. From Balboa to Old Town we were on another bus. That was very good. A lot of information and also fun facts in a way we could follow very good. 5 stars for that guide.

Overall the trip was informative and fun.
Initital demand in the morning driven by a cruise ship meant that the wait times were longer than the 20 minutes. Extra trollies were put on to cope.

I came on the trip because my 85 year old mother wanted to go. I can’t believe how much I enjoyed myself. The drivers were so entertaining. I enjoyed seeing so many spots I’ve seen before with a different perspective, filled with facts and history. Loved every minute. You can finish in two hours or make it last all day by getting off and enjoying the stops.

Our trolley tour and driver/guide were excellent. We had the perfect day weather-wise. The length of the tour fit nicely between getting off the cruise boat nearby and then getting to the airport. We had a little confusion about turning our vouchers into actual tickets/stickers, but the kind lady set us straight and we were on our way. Such a beautiful city! And a fun drive, especially the bridge to Coronado.
