Itinerary

Windsor Castle is a magical place that takes you back over 900 years. Windsor Castle is one of the most significant historical landmarks in the United Kingdom. It is not just any normal castle. It is the oldest and biggest castle where kings and queens still live. This means the British royal family still uses it. It is a giant castle standing tall since the 11th century. The castle was built by a famous king named William the Conqueror. The castle is so huge; it covers an area as big as 13 football fields. It is the oldest and largest inhabited castle in the world. Home to around 150 people.
Explore Windsor Castle in the afternoon. When you visit Windsor Castle, you will see the State Rooms, which are the fanciest rooms in the castle. These are the places where the royal family holds important events and welcomes special guests. Inside these rooms, you will find amazing art on the walls. Artists like Rembrandt and Leonardo da Vinci, who lived long ago, created these beautiful paintings. But that is not all. Your adventure does not stop with the State Rooms. There is something even more special waiting for you.
Next, visit the St George's Chapel. This is not just any chapel. It is like the royal family's personal church. Inside this are the resting places of kings and queens from centuries ago. Stand in a place where Henry VIII, one of the most famous kings in history, is buried alongside his favorite wife, Jane Seymour. It is not just Henry and Jane; other important royals like the Queen Mother, Prince Philip, and even Queen Elizabeth II have memorials there. You can almost feel the history as you walk through the chapel.
St George's Chapel is full of history. You can spend some quiet time there, just wandering around, learning the place's history, and uncovering the secrets and stories hidden in every corner of the chapel. So, when you visit Windsor Castle, you are not just seeing a really old building. You are taking a journey through time, exploring the lives of kings and queens and discovering the incredible stories that have unfolded within those ancient walls. Visiting the Windsor Castle is an amazing experience. You learn about the British Royal Family's interesting history and rich culture.
