Activity Cancellation Policy

You must cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the start time of the activity/experience to get a complete refund.
If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the start time of the activity/experience, you will not be reimbursed.
Any modifications made less than 24 hours before the start time of the activity/experience will not be allowed.
The cut-off times are determined by the activity/experience's local start time.
This activity/experience is weather dependent. If it is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be given an alternate date or a full refund.

How It Works

For groups of 12 or more, you may send us an inquiry at booking@sightseeingo.com. Although we do not guarantee bulk deals for all our tours, there are some tours for which we can offer discounted pricing. Ordinary hop-on-hop-off bus tickets are entitled to group savings. Attractions, pass items and combo tickets aren't.

Due the nature of this type of tour and varying demand, group travellers should be aware that there is no guarantee that the group will be able to travel altogether as the available seats vary from stop to stop and depends on demand each day. The group may need to split up and/or wait for the next bus(s).

As, we cannot guarantee that the group shall be able to travel together as one group, therefore we will reduce the group size down to 4-5 smaller groups per ticket (depending upon group size).

Overview

The best way to explore Alesund is through sightseeing via bus. The tour is an eight-stop route covering the best viewpoints and architectural landmarks, city’s best cultural and historic corners. The tour operates during spring and summer when the cruise arrives at the terminal. The red buses will be waiting outside the exit for the passengers to start with the tour. Itinerary

After the first stop at cruise terminal hop-off at Bus Stop 2, there is an open-air Sunnmore Museum featuring a vast collection of ancient houses and boats. The Bus stop 3 is a breathtaking sight as you glide up the stairs to the must-see Fjellstua stand point for a spectacular view of local fjords and mountains. At the mountain top, several walkways facilitate a walk around the natural surroundings while relishing the island and Mountain View in front of you. While climbing up the 418 steps stairs the half-way up the view is beautiful.

For purchasing some gifts for your loved ones to carry home, hop-off at Bus stop 4 and take a walk around the lovely little shops in the Parken Kulturhus and find the best ones to take with you. Complete the full circle of the route on the city sightseeing bus tour and visit the Art Nouveau Centre (City Centre), Aquarium and Alesund Church.
