Not really worth the money only one or two stops which are worth getting off for and still have to pay to go into palace gardens, more cost effective to get public bus which runs regularly to the stops the bus goes too

Buses were plentiful. Timings were difficult to navigate. Map easy to follow. Both red and blue routes (included in the 48 hr ticket) included very little information about Madeira. I’m sure there must be more snippets of interesting facts that could have been included.
The blue route is just a transport system to take you to the Monte Palace Gardens which are stunning and well worth a visit. The scenery on the climb was also glorious.
The red route was useful to get your bearings and enjoy the views.
A guided walk was also included with your ticket but we didn’t do that due to its timing.

Is very good

Good routes and some interesting audio. Drivers helpful and friendly. We did all the bus tours but didn't have time to do the walking tours or wine tasting sadly.
