Hanoi has always been Vietnam’s biggest icon when it comes to traveling. This capital has everything it takes to offer you a pleasant yet vibrant travel experience. However, just like anywhere else in the country, there are other corners of the city that you have not yet discovered. Explore Hanoi Old Quarter on a bike tour that will take you through the city’s charming back streets and historical landmarks. Discover the heart of Hanoi on a captivating half-day cycle tour. Pedal through the bustling streets, historic landmarks, and charming neighborhoods of the city.

First, we ride to Huu Tiep Lake in Ngoc Ha Flower Village. Here, you will see the remnants of a B-52 aircraft shot down during the Christmas bombing in 1972. This small lake holds a special place in the hearts of people and induces a feeling of patriotism in them. This peaceful area offers a glimpse into Hanoi's history and resilience. Next, we visit Banana Island, a quiet retreat away from the city's hustle and bustle. This serene spot is where local farmers grow vegetables and fruits. It is a perfect place to appreciate Hanoi's simpler, rural side. This hidden gem is located in the middle of the Red River alongside other islands in this area. However, Banana Island is now the most sought-after destination for those seeking out the secret natural beauty right in the capital city of Vietnam.

We will then cycle to Long Bien Bridge, the oldest Hanoi bridge built by the French during the colonial era. This iconic structure provides stunning views of the Red River and is a testament to Hanoi's historical significance and architectural beauty. Long Bien Bridge is famous for its role in Vietnam's history. In the fall of 1954, Long Bien Bridge welcomed a victorious army back from Dien Bien Phu to liberate the capital and drive the French colonial army out of Hanoi, down Road 5 to Hai Phong port, and out of Vietnam for good. Our journey continues to the Reunification Train Track, where you will see how residents live just one meter from the railway. This unique sight showcases the adaptability and resilience of Hanoi's people.

We will visit the nearly 200-year-old Hanoi Flag Tower, a symbol of the city, before heading to the elegant Hanoi Opera House. These landmarks highlight Hanoi's rich cultural heritage and architectural grandeur. Finally, we will stop at a local family's home to learn about everyday life in Hanoi. This Hanoi half day bike tour offers a deeper understanding of the city's culture and traditions, wrapping up our tour on a warm, human note. Go beyond the usual tourist spots into this city's most beautiful and interesting aspects to learn about its rich history of Hanoi.
