Itinerary

The moment you book and pay for a hop-on hop-off tour ticket you’ll get a bus pass which you can save on your phone. Alternatively, you can download the travel voucher to your mobile phone for printing out a hard copy of the ticket. Get to the main departure point (Goethestraβe) and show your e-pass or printed ticket after boarding the open-top double-decker bus.
 
If you show a smartphone voucher, you’ll receive a printed tour pass from the driver or conductor that you must retain throughout the trip. Although you can travel around the city center of Leipzig on foot, you cannot visit all the landmarks on walking. Many of the significant sights are situated a bit far off from the city centre and for seeing these attractions you’ll need to use transport.
 
And therefore, a hop-on hop-off bus is your best bet, allowing you to check out almost all the significant landmarks. Your Leipzig sightseeing bus ticket stays valid for an entire day which means you can get aboard and jump off several times. The double-decker bus will drive you via the historic squares in Leipzig's old town, museums, parks, cultural and architectural signposts, and the modern metropolis.
 
You’ll enjoy picturesque views of the Leipzig market housing the Old Town Hall, New Town Hall, Monument to the Battle of Nations, and St. Thomas Church. It’s recommended that you get off to inspect the various museums, Old St. Peter’s Church, Leipzig Zoological Garden, Gewandhaus, Panometer, and Schiller. Make sure you visit the Leipzig Hauptvbahnhof (main railway station)-Europe’s largest railway station in terms of floor area.

First Departure Point: Goethestraße (Einmündung Hauptbahnhof), 04109, Leipzig. However, you can board the bus at any stop and voucher can be exchanged directly with the driver.
Mobile and paper vouchers are both accepted at all stops.
You will receive a ticket in exchange for your voucher, which you must keep until the expiry date/ tour.
