Starting from Florence, we embark on a journey to experience the natural beauty of Tuscany, discovering fortifications, castles, and Templar myths! We will set off together on an equipped GT bus to Monteriggioni, a quaint fortified village with walls dating back to the 1200s, providing a unique immersive experience. Monteriggioni gained worldwide fame due to its appearance in a popular video game where the main character battled the infamous Knights Templar, and there is a museum dedicated to them included in this tour's package. After some free time to explore, we will depart for Val d'Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its lush green hills that transform into golden fields in summer (you might recognize a famous scene from a well-known film about a Gladiator of ancient Rome that was filmed in these very hills along our route).

In this stunning part of Tuscany, we will first visit Montalcino, a village highly regarded by locals for its exceptional wine, considered among the finest in Italy. In Montalcino, if part of your specific package, you will have the opportunity to sample local wines and products reflecting the Tuscan medieval tradition. After a pleasant stroll through the village and its charming shops, we will head to the final stop of our tour, Pienza, a renowned village celebrated for its cheese production; we recommend taking this chance to purchase Pecorino di Pienza. A wonderful view of the Val d'Orcia landscape will accompany us as we return to Florence, expected at the end of the day.
