The iconic Obelisco de Buenos Aires stands at the intersection of two of the city’s most important streets, Avenida 9 de Julio and Avenida Corrientes. The Obelisk was built in commemoration of the fourth centenary of the founding of the city. The Climb to the Obelisk tour allows visitors to discover the interior of the Obelisk, one of Buenos Aires’ most iconic landmarks, through a carefully organized visit with an assigned entry slot communicated before the experience. Guests can choose between two distinct visit options, each offering a different atmosphere—one highlighting the city in natural daylight with the day visit and the other showcasing Buenos Aires as it transforms with sunset and illuminated city views with the Sunset/Evening visit. Depending on the selected option, guests may enjoy clear daytime views of Buenos Aires or a magical atmosphere as the city lights illuminate the avenues, domes, and skyline during the Sunset/Evening.

Once inside, a brief introductory talk offers insight into the history and importance of the Obelisk, preparing guests for the ascent and the unique perspective that awaits. After the introduction, visitors take an elevator to the upper levels of the monument. The elevator has limited capacity, so members of the same group may travel separately. From there, guests climb a short section of narrow stairs to reach the viewpoint. At the top, panoramic views unfold through four windows facing the north, south, east, and west. Enjoy a truly unforgettable perspective from the top. The visit offers exclusive access to the interior of the Obelisk and delivers a short yet unforgettable experience, allowing visitors to admire the city from a truly privileged viewpoint. Due to the confined space and stair access, the experience is not suitable for people with reduced mobility, and children under four years of age are not permitted.

Assigned Time Slot: Please note that your visit time slot will be assigned once you complete all the required information. You will receive your ticket via email in QR code format along with your assigned time slot.

To get an Idea about the Time Slots, please check the following options available:

- 9:00 AM: To be assigned a time slot between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

- 12:15 PM: To be assigned a time slot between 12:15 PM and 4:00 PM.

- 4:15 PM: To be assigned a time slot between 4:15 PM and 7:00 PM.

For Sunset/ Evening tour the time slots are assigned between 07:15 PM and 08:45 PM.

Entry is every 20 minutes.

To confirm the reservation, all guests are required to share their first name, last name and ID/Passport Number. The visit cannot be confirmed until all information has been received.

Arrival: Visitors must arrive at least 20 minutes before their assigned time to guarantee access and the smooth running of the activity. You must present the QR code you will receive by email and your ID card or passport.

Access to the viewpoint may be limited due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

Minimum Age: Children under 4 years of age are not permitted.

Elevator: The elevator has a maximum capacity of 4 people. It is not guaranteed that all members of the same reservation will ride in the same session.

Stairs: After the elevator, you must go up 2 floors via narrow stairs to access the viewpoint.
