In the 1950s seven, Savannah women saved Davenport House from demolition and founded Savannah Foundation. This is now a museum where different events and programs are organized throughout the year.
Forsyth Park: It is the largest park in Savannah and attracts kids and adults alike. This park was made in the 19th century and the huge cast-iron fountain is the most important feature that was added in 1858. The park is spread over 30 acres of space with a green area to walk.
