Itinerary

Get away from the hustle and bustle of London and go on a literary adventure beyond the city. The Shakespeare's Stratford and the Cotswolds tour takes you through some of the most beautiful and historic parts of England, blending literary history with countryside charm. Accompanied by a professional guide who leads the way, regaling you with stories and interesting facts about the rich history of these beautiful places. The adventure begins in Stratford-upon-Avon, a town full of character and famously the birthplace of William Shakespeare. Here you’ll step inside the charming half-timbered house where the playwright was born, with your guide sharing stories about his childhood and daily life in those times. From there, the path leads to Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, a delightful thatched farmhouse surrounded by gardens where Shakespeare once courted his bride. Inside, you’ll find original family furniture, including the Hathaway bed, offering a glimpse into their lives. The journey continues to Shakespeare’s schoolroom, where you can imagine the young William learning lessons that would shape his genius and walk in the footsteps of the Bard himself.
Leaving the town behind, the trip carries on into the Cotswolds, an officially designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The rolling hills and honey-colored stone villages are a photographer’s dream, and at Bourton-on-the-Water, often called ‘Little Venice,’ you’ll see quaint bridges and waterways that make this place feel like a living storybook. After a day filled with history, literature, and scenery, you’ll return to London in the evening. The Shakespeare's Stratford and the Cotswolds tour is made comfortable by a luxury air-conditioned coach, and throughout the day you’ll be accompanied by a professional guide to bring the experience to life. Explore Shakespeare’s Stratford and wander through some of the most charming villages and rural scenery of the Cotswolds with this tour.
