The city's official touring service provider is Sightseeing Thessaloniki. Board one of our open-air buses for a sightseeing tour of our city's major landmarks and points of interest. Hop off at any of the eight distinct stops and see a local attraction. With our free commentary in 11 different languages, you may learn everything about the history of your visited location.
 
Prepare to discover Thessaloniki, a port city that has been ruled by the Byzantine, Roman, and Ottoman Empires. Get ready to uncover the greatest of the city's heritage. Many magnificent works are classified as UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Thessaloniki. The splendour of these structures is enhanced by the early Christian art. The Church of Agios Dimitrios is an ideal location to see Early Christian Art.
 
The trip would take you to the Lefkos Pyrgos, or White Tower of Thessaloniki, which is a monument and museum. The 15th-century Ottoman tower lies on the city's coastline and provides spectacular views. From ancient to contemporary, continue down the promenade to see the stunning and one of Thessaloniki's most photographed sculptures, 'Zongolopoulos Umbrellas.' Don't forget to take some beautiful sunset shots.
 
Take the bus to Ano Poli, Thessaloniki's Upper Town, which is located around the Acropolis. This lovely location is Thessaloniki's sole ancient district to have survived the Great Fire of 1917. Get off at this amazing location and learn more about the customs and culture. Wander the streets and take in the breathtaking vistas. Heptapyrgion may also be found in the top portion of this Old Town. Heptapyrgion is a Byzantine stronghold that formerly towered above Thessaloniki. Don't pass up the opportunity to visit a wonderful location.
 
You can go on and off the path as many times as you choose. Stay on board and ride the complete loop if you like. Buses leave every 30 minutes from locations located across the city. Here is the list of stops:

Departure Location: White Tower, However you can board the bus at any stop and voucher can be exchanged directly with the driver / bus staff.
Mobile Vouchers: Must redeemed at Stop 1, Lefkós Pýrgos (Start point)
Paper Vouchers: Can be redeemed on the bus at any stop along the route.
You will receive a ticket in exchange for your voucher, which you must keep until the expiry date/ tour.
Please check your ticket to know when it expires.
After exchanging your voucher for a ticket, your voucher will no longer be valid.

In "normal times" Thessaloniki is a busy city, especially during special events, summer holidays and at weekends. Traffic congestion and road closures - may cause delays, reduced frequency and changes to the route. We’ll do all we can to provide a smooth and frequent service!
