Join us on a guided food tour that offers a delightful way to explore the food and culture of Barcelona in one memorable experience. Starting from Placa de Catalunya, you will walk down the Portal de l’Àngel and take the first stop at El 4 Gats to have traditional vermouth accompanied by classic tapas. The journey then continues to the Cathedral area to La Pineda to taste freshly sliced cured ham, 'pan con tomate', and a glass of wine. As you walk through Carrer del Pi and Avinyo, hear about the evolution of the neighbourhood until you reach Bar La Plata. Here you will try wine served in a traditional “porrón” with their signature fried fish. The experience concludes at Cafe de l'Academia, where you will enjoy a full selection of traditional Catalan dishes paired with wine and cava. The tour ends in the Gothic Quarter, leaving you with memorable flavours and cultural insights.

The experience begins at Plaça de Catalunya, where your local guide welcomes you and introduces you to the journey ahead. From here, you walk along Portal de l’Àngel while listening to stories about the old town and its past. The first stop is Els 4 Gats, an iconic restaurant from the Modernist era, where you enjoy traditional vermouth served with classic tapas. After this, the walk continues toward the Cathedral area, leading you to La Pineda, a well-known historic deli. Here you taste freshly sliced cured ham, “pan con tomate,” and a glass of wine while learning about local food traditions. The route then takes you along Carrer del Pi and Avinyó, with your guide explaining how the neighborhood has evolved over time.

Next, you arrive at Bar La Plata, one of the oldest bars in the Gothic Quarter.
