Join us on a guided half-day tour into the ancient city of Pompeii, one of the most archaeological sites. With morning (AM) departure and priority access, begin your experience quickly and comfortably. Begin with a Morning (AM) departure as you meet your expert local guide at the designated meeting point at the Zeus Car Park for a smooth, fast-track entry into Pompeii Archaeological Site. Your journey begins at Porta Marina, one of the original city gates, followed by Via Marina, the historic route that once connected the harbor to the heart of the city. Soon you reach the Civil Forum, once the bustling political, religious, and commercial center, surrounded by grand temples and public buildings, including the Basilica, where legal and business affairs took place. Continuing along Via dell’Abbondanza, the city’s main street lined with shops, homes, and visible chariot tracks carved into stone, you enter the Theater District, a lively cultural hub featuring the Large Theater, where performances once entertained crowds, along with a beautifully preserved bath complex that reveals Roman social life and wellness traditions.

As the walk continues, you visit the Lupanare, the ancient brothel decorated with vivid frescoes, before exploring a Thermopolium and a Pistrinum, where millstones, ovens, and counters show how locals once enjoyed quick street food and freshly baked goods. You then step into the elegant House of the Faun, a grand Roman residence famous for its intricate mosaics, including the remarkable Alexander Mosaic, offering insight into the wealth and lifestyle of the Roman elite. The experience concludes at the Macellum, the city’s vibrant market, where trade once thrived, and with a powerful encounter at the plaster casts of Pompeii’s victims — moving human reminders of lives suddenly interrupted.
