Itinerary

With hop on hop off sightseeing tour you can choose up to three different routes and customize your excursion program. The comfortable and modern buses give an ideal view of Vienna. Wi-Fi service is available onboard so you can use the internet facility. On RED Line you can explore Ringstraße boulevard. This place is a wonder in terms of urban planning. The construction took more than fifty years. It is now the most amazing boulevard across the globe. There are numerous magnificent palaces constructed by affluent citizens. The building sites were not occupied by public buildings so rich Jewish families get the opportunity to make spectacular palaces in boulevards showcasing their wealth. Ringstraße boulevard has become the core of social and economic life.

Explore the Hundertwasser House is one of the architectural marvels in Vienna. This was designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser which attracts visitors from different parts of the world. The exterior façade is colorful and decorated and looks magical. There are more than two hundred trees and shrubs on roofs and balconies that add greenery at the center of the city. You can also explore Hundertwasser Village alongside this building. This is a shopping center of similar style and Hundertwasser Museum treasures the popular works of eminent artists.

Discover the Prater on the BLUE LINE which is exciting and entertaining. This place is quiet and relaxing. There are attractions at one part with an amazing roller coaster and the merry-go-round. The other part is popularly known as the Green Prater where you can find quiet paths covered with shady trees. Prater has 250 attractions which are fun and enjoyable.

The Prater is a public park with ample green space. It is among the oldest amusement parks across the globe. The 200 feet tall Ferris wheel is a symbol of Vienna. In 1766, it was opened to the public. Many original attractions are well-preserved that contribute to the glory of the historic feel. The Giant wheel was opened in 1897 and it is the iconic symbol of Vienna. This Ferris wheel has survived many disasters and wars throughout history.

During World War I it remained unused for two years but during World War II, it cannot survive. The reconstruction was done but only 15 gondolas were restored out of 30 gondolas. Those damaged gondolas now form an exhibition area where visitors can discover Vienna’s history.

YELLOW LINE offers a tour to Schönbrunn which is a summer palace of the Habsburgs with 1,440 rooms made in Rococo style. The magnificent palaces and awe-inspiring gardens were designated a World Heritage Site in 1996 by UNESCO. This architectural marvel in Europe is made in the Baroque architectural style and has historical importance. The beautiful furnishing and spectacular layout attract millions of visitors every year to see the beauty.

This palace has been in Habsburg’s possession since 1569. Eleonore Von Gonzaga, the wife of Emperor Ferdinand II has a pleasure palace constructed on the site called Schönbrunn. This was made in 1642 and garden complexes were made afterward.

It is not made clear that if you show your online booking and then get a printed receipt on the bus, from that point you gave to use the printed receipt only. Also, one of the agents around schwedenplatz was really quite rude, talking to us as if we were stupid for not knowing that.
