The museum offers an interactive and contemporary environment to understand how the gas and petroleum oil discovered in the past and the purpose they are serving nowadays.

On its way to the two radiant museums, The Museum of Art and The Museum of Archaeology at Bus Stop eight and nine, the bus crosses the magnificent Victoria Hotel. Upcoming next is Ledaal Royal Residence which imparts the royal vibes while passing the beautiful old house in Stavanger. The house was a place to stay for the British Royal Family during their visit to the city. The vehicle completes the loop hereafter finishing the journey at the terminal cruise port. The trip lasts for about 50 minutes. The bus tour operates only through May- September when the ships are in the port.

Please check the berthing location with your cruise line; Strandkaien arrivals will be able to board the City Sightseeing Stavanger hop-on hop-off bus at bus stop 1 Gamle Stavanger / Cruise Ship Terminal. This is immediately outside the port gates.

Occasionally ships will berth on the opposite side to Strandkaien, in which case the nearest City Sightseeing Stop 4 Victoria Hotel applies.
