Enjoy a captivating 90‑minute guided walk through the very heart of Royal London. Led by an expert guide, this tour takes you past some of the city’s most impressive royal landmarks while sharing fascinating stories and insights into the British Royal Family. Your journey begins at St James’ Palace, commissioned by Henry VIII and now the London residence of Princess Anne. You’ll then make your way to Buckingham Palace, where—when available—you can witness the iconic Changing of the Guard ceremony. Your guide knows the ideal viewing spot, ensuring you capture fantastic photos and videos as the guards march past.

Strolling down The Mall, you’ll see Clarence House, the London home of King Charles and Queen Camilla. With a bit of luck, you might even catch a glimpse of their motorcade arriving or departing. The walk continues through St James’s, one of London’s most historic neighbourhoods. Discover the city’s oldest wine shop, a traditional hat shop dating back to 1676, and Prince Philip’s long‑time barbers. Step into a hidden courtyard where some of London’s final sword duels took place, and hear colourful tales of King Charles II and his many mistresses. The tour concludes at Horse Guards, the royal parade ground where the monarch’s official birthday is celebrated each year with the spectacular Trooping the Colour ceremony.

You can show your mobile or printed voucher at the meeting location: Buckingham Palace, Buckingham Gate, Tourist Bus Stop. SW1A 1AA (outside Queens Gallery).
The tour guide will be waiting by the bus stop adjacent to the entrance of Queen Gallery.
The nearest underground station is Victoria and Green Park.
In loss of voucher/ticket, company is not liable for any refund.

Please note that the Guard Change may not be operational in bad weather conditions. On these occasions we will visit the Horse Guards for a photostop instead.
The tour will end at approx. 11:30am at Westminster Abbey, however, if there is a Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace or the Palace is open the tour might end at Buckingham Palace instead. Please check with your guide at the beginning of the tour.
Changing of the Guard days can get very busy, and people with large luggage, prams and strollers may find it difficult to navigate the area.
