Monaco is a tiny European country of two square kilometers in size. The small piece of land holds everything glamorous on the planet. Visit Palais Princier de Monaco
Located on the beautiful peninsular of Le Rocher, Palais Princier de Monaco is home to the World’s oldest Monarchy. Monaco came into existence in 1297 and it was established by a Genoese noble family of Grimaldi after capturing land from the Republic of Genoa. Originally it was built as a Genoese fortress in the 13th century for defensive purposes and later it was transformed into a lavish Italian Renaissance palace.

Musée Océanographique de Monaco
Standing on the astounding seaside location on Le Rocher, the museum and aquariums are must visit. Commissioned by Prince Albert I, this is one of the oldest aquariums across the globe. Oceanographic Museum treasures exhibits of oceanography and marine science. The valuable collections are worth-witnessing. There are three aquariums namely the Mediterranean Aquarium, Tropical Aquarium, and Shark Lagoon that comprise rare marine life and fish species with varieties of colors and shapes.  
 
Cathédrale de Monaco
This is the burial place of the Princes of Monaco and you can see the tombs of Princess Grace and Prince Rainier, the past sovereigns. The Cathedral was constructed between 1875 and 1884 but it is home to Louis Brea, an altarpiece dating from 1500. An episcopal throne is another important artwork that is sculpted from Carrara Marble. Grand Organ is used for religious services and holy music concerts.
 
Monaco is surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea on one side and France on three sides. This independent city-state sprawls in a small area but it is home to many tourist attractions. Here you can witness the essence of Greeks, Phoenicians, Carthaginians, and Roman culture. Hop-on hop-off buses are the best way to experience all.
