The location of this nature’s wonder varies and is a weather dependent phenomenon.

Itinerary

The glaring sky and calm surroundings away from the city is a divine experience. This natural phenomenon connects you with the nature and offers a lifetime experience. Northern Lights are the result of interaction between particles of the upper atmosphere with the earth’s magnetic field. This is a weather dependant tour and sightseeing is not guaranteed. However, you can join the next available tour free of charge.


The bus will take you to the different locations to search for the dark sky. Capture the spectacular lights so they can be memorable forever. This tour offers the opportunity to hunt for colorful lights in silence and darkness of Icelandic winter. The lights shine up in the sky in colors like pink, green, blue, red and white. The particles from the solar wind when interacting with the magnetic field of the earth the colors are formed.


If you do not like gatherings, this tour is perfect for you because the maximum size of the group is not more than 19 people. Enjoy the silence away from the city and concentrate above so that you do not miss the golden chance to see these dazzling lights. This is nature’s gift to Iceland because there are many Scandinavian regions that do not experience this activity. Dress warmly to protect from harsh winds. Do not forget to carry a camera, as it is must to capture this unique experience.


The professional guides are experienced so they can predict accurate weather conditions and try their best to take you at the best possible place so you can experience the beautiful moments. However, you can again join the tour next time if Northern lights do not appear.

Return Location: BSI Bus Terminal OR your hotels.
