Activity Cancellation Policy

You must cancel your booking at least 24 hours before the start time of the activity/experience to get a complete refund.
If you cancel your booking less than 24 hours before the start time of the activity/experience, you will not be reimbursed.
Any modifications made less than 24 hours before the start time of the activity/experience will not be allowed.
The cut-off times are determined by the activity/experience's local start time.
This activity/experience is weather dependent. If it is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be given an alternate date or a full refund.

How It Works

For groups of 12 or more, you may send us an inquiry at booking@sightseeingo.com. Although we do not guarantee bulk deals for all our tours, there are some tours for which we can offer discounted pricing. Ordinary hop-on-hop-off bus tickets are entitled to group savings. Attractions, pass items and combo tickets aren't.

Due the nature of this type of tour and varying demand, group travellers should be aware that there is no guarantee that the group will be able to travel altogether as the available seats vary from stop to stop and depends on demand each day. The group may need to split up and/or wait for the next bus(s).

As, we cannot guarantee that the group shall be able to travel together as one group, therefore we will reduce the group size down to 4-5 smaller groups per ticket (depending upon group size).

Itinerary

Get ready to explore Thessaloniki, a port city that was once part of the Byzantine, Roman and Ottoman Empires. The city has a rich history, so get ready to discover the best. Church of Agios Dimitrios is an appropriate place to witness the Early Christian Art.

The tour will take you to the Lefkos Pyrgos or White Tower of Thessaloniki, a monument and museum is undoubtedly the famous landmark. The 15th-century Ottoman tower stands on the city’s waterfront, offering fabulous views. Proceed from old to new, carry on along the promenade to witness the beautiful and Thessaloniki’s one of the most photographed sculpture ‘Zongolopoulos Umbrellas.’ Do not forget to capture lovely photos during sunset.

Hop on the bus and to explore Thessaloniki’s Upper Town Ano Poli, located around the acropolis. This beautiful place is the only historic neighborhood of Thessaloniki that survived the Great Fire of 1917. Hop off this fantastic place and know more about the traditions and culture. You can board the bus at any stop.
Paper Vouchers can be exchanged directly with the driver.
However, if you have a Mobile Voucher, then it must only be redeemed at Stop#1, Lefkós Pýrgos (White Tower of Thessaloniki).
Please check your ticket to know when it expires.
After exchanging your voucher for a ticket, your voucher will no longer be valid.
In loss of voucher/ticket, company is not liable for any refund.
Flexible Ticket: Book Now! You can use your ticket any day within 12 months.

Know Before You Go

Voucher Information: Mobile and Paper Vouchers both are accepted, however the Mobile Voucher can only be redeemed at Stop#1, and Paper Vouchers can be redeemed at any stop with the bus driver.
Wheelchair Accessible: Yes (There is access for wheelchairs and baby strollers and inside the buses there's space for storage as well.)

Infants can travel free and you do not require to book infant ticket.

Customers will see and meet the City Sightseeing Thessaloniki staff in or outside of the buses and at the departure/ arrival point Lefkos Pyrgos.

Complimentary ear phones are provided, or you are welcome to use your own wired earphones with a jack connector

Tours operate in all weather, rain or shine. Refunds due to weather will not be granted unless the service is suspended as a result of weather.

Disclaimer: Due to traffic issues, public holidays, weather conditions, and unforeseen circumstances, there might be sudden changes in the route or on the schedule. Traffic congestion and road closures - may cause delays, reduced frequency and changes to the route. We’ll do all we can to provide a smooth and frequent service! No refund will be offered for any changes or cancelations due to any unforeseen circumstances.

Operational Details:
-Stop 3 and stop 8 are currently out of service. The Agia Sofia Church is within walking distance of stop 6.

-The situation is continuously changing day by day, week by week. We ask that our customers bear with us whilst we find our feet again during these unusual times.

-Operating times, frequencies and inclusion changes can happen at any time and without notice, especially with the current situation.

-The bus is not currently running to Ano Poli due to roadworks in the old city centre, but it is only a 15-minute walk from stop 2 and we strongly recommend Ano Poli as a fascinating place to visit.
