Overview & Description

Discover the British heritage at 900 year old Windsor castle. The luxurious State Apartments in the castle with magnificent artworks are priceless. See the historic St. George Chapel, which is the burial place of Henry VIII. The dollhouse made for the Queen Mary is occupied with diminutive treasures. In summers, visitors can also enjoy the Changing of the Guard ceremony.   

The tour also includes a trip to Bath, a world heritage site. This thriving ancient town is famous for Roman built baths. It is home to Georgian architecture, Roman ruins, natural hot springs and stone houses. Also visit Stonehenge, the prehistoric monument that treasures secrets of design and ancient engineering.

Visit the biggest inhabited castle that is home to approx. Five hundred people and the Queen herself spend many weekends in this official residence. The impressive towers and castle battlements create the most spectacular skylines in the world. Many people think that Windsor castle is a museum like and preserve historic ruins, but this pristine castle is fully working and lively. With the tour, you will be among the first to enter the castle after it opens for common people. The upper ward of the castle comprises of grand state apartments and the private apartments with extraordinary interior and decorated by the artworks of Rembrandt, Michelangelo, and many others.


The Middle ward is the heart of Windsor castle. The lower ward is present at the west of Round tower and St. George Chapel is located on the north side of this ward. St. George chapel is the architectural highlight and a place of worship of the royal family and The Queen. Sir Edwin Lutyens, the renowned architect, had built the world famous and the largest dollhouse for Queen Mary. The dollhouse with running water, electricity, working lifts, and decorative rooms is a must visit place. Windsor is packed with historical pubs and traditional shops where you can enjoy.

A tour to Bath, the most attractive and small city of Britain, will refresh you with its archeological wonders. This world heritage site is a perfect place for rejuvenation. The hot springs with healing powers were discovered by the British king 5000 years ago. The Temple of Sulis Minerva and the Roman Baths are the marks of Roman architecture.  A walk to Royal Crescent gives a glimpse of Georgian architecture. Also, visit Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge and explore or enjoy classical music along with an afternoon tea in the Pumps Room.

This tour also includes a trip to the famous prehistoric monument Stonehenge. Its origin is nearly 5000 years old. This world heritage site present in Wiltshire. Stonehenge is a world-famous tourist attraction that draws a million tourists every year.  The site with gigantic stones has an impressive and mysterious history. It was built in six stages from Neolithic stage to the Bronze stage. Uncover the mysterious work of ancient engineering and marvel at the vast collection of stones.

Return Location: The tour ends at the London Victoria.

Important Info

Additional Information:
Georges Chapel is closed on every Sunday, and sometimes State Apartments are closed so there will be extra time to explore castle area.
Additional vehicles without Wi-Fi can be used during peak periods.
Windsor Castle is closed on 18 May, 16 & 17 June, so you will visit Hampton Court Palace on these dates.
